My goal as an activist scholar is to ensure that research centers the voices of those closest to the issue.

From time to time I contribute my thoughts to local newspapers. I incorporate scholarly literature to address real-world governance issues.

The publication process is still new to me. As I wrap up my dissertation, I hope this dimension of my work will grow.
